Ba-Nana Nut Bread
12 servings@ 3 DotsPlus each

 

2 1/2 cup Kellogg's Bran Buds or original All Bran
1/3 cup fat-free skim milk
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
2 large bananas, ripe and mashed
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
3/4 cup SPLENDA No Calorie Sweetener
2 eggs
1/3 cup chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Spray loaf pan with non-stick cooking spray. In a blender grind the Bran Buds to a course flour-like consistency. (1 3/4 cup) Add the baking soda, baking powder and salt. Set aside. Beat eggs and Splenda until light. Beat in mashed bananas, applesauce, milk , vanilla and pecans. Stir in dry ingredients. Pour into loaf pan and bake 1 hour until toothpick comes out clean.
