Chick Pea Nuts

6 (1/4 cup) servings @ 2 PPVs each


15 oz canned garbanzo beans   

1 Tbsp ground cumin   
  1 1/2 tsp garlic powder   
  1/2 tsp chili powder   
  1 tsp Durkee Pepper, Black Ground, or to taste   

Instructions


* Preheat oven to 350 degrees
* Rinse canned chickpeas under cold water and drain. Pat dry with a paper towel to remove excess water.
* In a large bowl or zip lock bag toss the rinsed and drained chickpeas with the spices and seasonings.
* Spread the chickpeas onto a baking sheet sprayed with non-stick spray and bake for 35-40 minutes, until golden brown. Check every 10 minutes to make sure they don't burn! 

1/4 cup = serving

Change these up by using different spices and seasonings. I love the popcorn seasonings for this!
