Ghostie Shepherd's Pie

6 servings @ 6 DotsPlus each

12 oz cooked extra lean ground beef

12 oz frozen mixed vegetables

15 1/4 oz can diced tomatoes

12 oz jar fat free beef gravy

2 1/4 cups prepared instant mashed potatoes

1 egg

 

Heat oven to 375F. 
Set aside 12 peas for garnish. Combine remaining frozen vegetables, tomatoes, gravy and beef ; mix well. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat to medium-low; cover and cook 8 to 10 minutes.


Prepare instant mashed potatoes according to package. Stir in egg; blend well.
Put beef mixture in ungreased 8-inch square baking dish. With large spoon, make 6 mounds of potato mixture on top of beef mixture to resemble ghosts. Place 2 reserved peas on each mound for eyes.


Bake at 375F. for 20 to 25 minutes or until potatoes are set and mixture is thoroughly heated.
