Meal in a Dish

This recipe came from my Father-in-law's family and was his favorite as a kid.

Great for church dinners or for a neighbor needing a meal.

Note:  Try adding a layer of fat free cheese over the meat mixture and then top with the soup.

 

Ingredients:
1 1/2 pound cooked extra lean ground beef
1 cup cooked frozen green peas
1 1/3 cup onion, chopped
4 oz Whole wheat egg noodles, cooked
1 can Tomato Soup, undiluted
1 cup fat-free packaged croutons, crushed


Instructions:

Brown meat -rinse with hot water and drain. Add peas, onions and noodles.

Place in casserole and top with the soup, then the croutons. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
