Shrimp and Grits

6 (1 cup) servings @ 9 DotsPlus per Serving

  • 8 oz Kraft Fat Free Sharp Cheddar Cheese

  • 1 cup quick uncooked yellow corn grits

  • 4 tsp lemon juice, canned or bottled

  • 1 clove garlic clove, minced

  • 1 cup onions, chopped

  • 2 Tbsp parsley

  • 1 pound cooked shrimp

  • 3 Tbsp Hormel Real crumbled bacon bits

Sautee onions and garlic until translucent. Set aside.

Bring 4 cups water to boil. Add salt and pepper (to taste). Add grits and cook until water is absorbed, about 12-18 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in cheese.

Stir in cooked shrimp and bacon bits. Add lemon juice, parsley, onions and garlic.
Serve immediately.
